What IntactFile is

IntactFile is a browser-based tool that repairs the structure of damaged files (video, archives, documents, images). Processing happens locally on your device, inside your browser; your files are not transmitted to us.

Free tier

The free tier covers video files up to 500 MB, documents and archives up to 100 MB, photos up to 50 MB — 3 repairs per day, with free download of results and no account. It's supported by ads on this site. We may adjust free-tier limits, but we won't retroactively lock away a result you already produced.

Paid repairs and credits

What we don't promise

Not every file can be repaired. Repair rebuilds structure around data that survived in your file; data that was overwritten or never written cannot be restored by any software. We show you a diagnosis and a real preview before you commit, and we're honest when the answer is no — but we cannot guarantee a successful repair for every file.

Acceptable use

Use IntactFile only on files you have the right to possess and repair. Don't attempt to use the service to circumvent copy protection or encryption, probe or disrupt the service, or resell it without an agreement with us.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." Repair is non-destructive — your original file is never modified — but you're responsible for keeping your originals. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protections of your country of residence.
